Persona (Characteristics)

- The funny gal; lightens the mood with her humor
- Humor could be high-brow (observational comedy, sharp wit) or low-brow (physical buffoonery, outlandish stupidity or ignorance)
- Able to spin the situation on its head and find a new, unexpected way of looking at things
- May have a charismatic, magnetic presence that perpetually draws attention 
- Gifted with the ability to tell truths and see hidden realities, however uncomfortable & unpleasant
- Able to get away with telling these truths and insights because of her "foolishness"
- Helps other characters bond through shared laughter and enjoyment of her comedy

Shadow (Dark side)

- Keen wit may be sarcastic, cruel, malicious, critical, cutting and harmful towards others
- May be reliant upon others' enjoyment of her comedy for her own self-esteem
- Comedy may be a defense mechanism/ smokescreen for her low self-esteem 
- Feels like she always has to be "on" and can never be anything but the "funny one" in order for people to love her
- Buffoonery goes too far and leads to self-harm and harm of others
- No filter -- can't control herself
